Cardigan 3.6 miles. This single-storey, detached cottage of The Wheel provides a family-friendly holiday in Penparc near Cardigan, Ceredigion. The property is dog-friendly and offers on-site facilities including an outdoor heated swimming pool, children's play area, and shared laundry facilities, whilst Cardigan Bay, coastal paths, and historic sites are all within easy reach. Suitable for guests with limited mobility, the cottage is all-ground-floor with an open-plan living space. You can rustle up your favourite home-cooked dishes in the well-equipped kitchen area, ready to be served at the dining table. Outside, there is shared outdoor seating throughout the grounds and barbecues, so you can enjoy alfresco dining on summer evenings surrounded by countryside. Alternatively, hunker down in the sitting area by the warmth of the woodburning stove, complete with a Smart TV and plush corner sofa. There are four bedrooms sleeping up to eight guests: a double with en-suite shower room, two twins, and a bunk. All bedrooms have access to a contemporary bathroom with a heated towel rail, bath, and shower over. You can visit the Cardigan Island Farm Park, Blue Flag beaches like National Trust beach Mwnt, and the friendly Dyfed Riding Centre. For cyclists, take Route 82. The nearby Preseli Mountains offer hiking, biking, and stunning views, plus an ancient stone monument.
