Parlwr Godro (which means milking parlour in Welsh), has been renovated to a high standard in 2022, and is perfect for a romantic break away or for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding areas that this property has to offer straight from the front door. Parlwr Godro consists of open plan living/dining room with a wood burner, a Smart TV and Wi-Fi. Patio doors lead to the outside which enjoys great views, and the kitchen is five steps up. This detached barn conversion offers a master bedroom with an emperor bed. A second bedroom with twin beds and A luxury family bathroom completes the picture. There is a stable door giving access to the enclosed rear garden. This detached barn conversion lies on the owners’ small holding and there is plenty to discover in terms of walks and wildlife here.
The property is about 3 miles from the town of Lampeter, which has an array of shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs to choose from. additionally, there are over 60 miles of glorious coastline in Cardigan Bay, and lots of beaches and coves in the pretty, coastal resort of New Quay. The colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron can be easily reached about 10 miles away. You’re very likely to see dolphins in the bay and there are boat trips available to watch them and the other wildlife.
The Victorian seaside and university town of Aberystwyth is also within easy reach, where you’ll find a traditional pier, promenade, and the old electric cliff railway to the summit of Constitution Hill, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the bay.
Enjoy a day out at the National Trust Dolaucothi Gold Mines at Pumpsaint, the Silver Mountain Experience (silver-lead mines) at Ponterwyd or the red kite feeding centre at Bwlch Nant Yr Arian, or why not take a trip on a traditional steam train from Aberystwyth to the falls at Devil’s Bridge?

A Little Piece of Heaven in Wales!We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The place was so cozy and beautifully kept — you can really tell how much care and thought has gone into every little detail.Waking up to the peaceful countryside views each morning was just magical. We spent our days exploring Wales and our evenings by the fire, completely relaxed. It was exactly the kind of break we needed.Our hosts were amazing, Ffion and family — so kind, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. They made sure everything was perfect for our stay, and those little touches (like the welcome basket) meant so much.We left feeling refreshed and already can’t wait to come back. Truly one of the loveliest places we’ve ever stayed! 💛

Wow ,where do I begin ! I absolutely loved staying here with my boxer dog. I Wished we lived there!! Quite simply the best holiday cottage we have stayed in and have already booked to come again in march and I’ve no doubt will be a regular visitor there. The barn conversation is so lovely ,spacious, well equipped beautifully clean and just delightful.There are lovely woodland walks right on your doorstep,,with gorgeous views of the surrounding area ,ideal if your are bringing your dog.The back garden is great for them too so a great dog friendly place to stay. There is a lovely farm shop 8minutes away selling all sorts of healthy goodies including milk bread etc. and Lampeter is only 3 miles away. I Had my hair cut at Hunters which was a lovely treat , highly recommend. Also ,Aberareon and Newquay are only half an hours drive, which are great places to visit. But what really made the holiday for us was Ffion the owner , she made us so welcome and was an absolute delight to have around. All credit to her for all her hard work in making it such a great place to stay.You will not be disappointed in booking this gorgeous holiday destination!

**5-Star Review**We just returned from the most incredible holiday in the UK, and I can't recommend it highly enough! Last week was truly the best getaway we've had. The weather was absolutely perfect, and the views over the valley were nothing short of spectacular. It was just what we needed to recharge our souls.The cottage itself was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a rustic charm that we absolutely loved. Ffion and her daughter welcomed us warmly, even bringing dog treats for our dog, Cleo, which was such a thoughtful touch. Ffion was incredibly accommodating, making us feel right at home and going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Every evening, either she or her two boys would bring logs for the fire, adding to the cozy atmosphere. The children were also so well-mannered and welcoming, which made our experience even more delightful. The location is perfect, with amenities just a short 10-minute drive away. We took the opportunity to visit New Quay, where we were lucky enough to see dolphins—definitely a highlight of our trip! Aberystwyth was picturesque, featuring a lovely long walk along the seafront, and we also enjoyed our visit to Devil's Bridge, which was well worth a visit .
