Walk along the charming stone passage into the entrance of the cottage, through to a welcoming hallway. Climb the staircase into the social hub of the home, comprising a delightful open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner. Characterful accents include a high vaulted and beamed ceiling and an ornamental wood burner. Snuggle on the comfortable sofa in front of the Smart TV while the designated chef cooks up a storm in the well-appointed kitchen. At the end of a day’s sightseeing, gather around the dining table set for four guests and enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal. Retire to the ground floor where you’ll find two inviting double bedrooms decorated in nautical hues and boasting rustic wooden beams. A shower room completes this floor. From the main living area, enjoy al fresco dining on the spacious decked area. Sip on sundowners while you sit by the firepit in the adjoining garden. Take advantage of the Dark Sky location with a spot of stargazing at the end of a perfect day. Private parking is available for one car.

Navigate the path to the beach at Cwmtydu, just 800 metres away. French brandy smugglers once used this secluded beach, but it is also known as Seals Bay due to the large colony of grey seals that inhabit the waters. Castell Bach Bay and Cwm Silio Beach are also just within a mile’s reach. The coastal resort of New Quay is just 5 miles away. Visit the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre. Further inland, head to the National Trust properties at Llanerchaeron, Theatr Felinfach and Cae Hir Gardens, all within 15 miles.
