Within the town, you’ll find many companies offering a whole host of water sports, and you can also join fishing trips or wildlife-watching excursions from the harbour. A great way to explore the town is via the Dylan Thomas Trail, which follows in the footsteps of the town’s most famous former resident. From New Quay, it’s easy to take a day trip to the vibrant university town of Aberystwyth, where you’ll find a great range of shops and eateries, as well as a Victorian promenade, cliff railway, and camera obscura.
