The sandy village of Aberporth (14.5 miles) offers another option for beach days as well as a chance to join the historic Dylan Thomas Trail for a day of walking. Closer to home, the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron (9 miles) grants you access to an 18th-century estate featuring walled gardens and local wildlife.
