The Lodge is set in a tranquil and picturesque location, ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat close to New Quay and other local attractions. Guests appreciate the tidy site and the wildlife, with some enjoying the lodge's homely feel. However, there are mentions of areas needing TLC and updates.
Cleanliness has been a concern for several guests, with reports of the lodge being dirty upon arrival and issues with dog hairs, dirty cutlery, and unclean surfaces. Some guests found it necessary to clean before unpacking, indicating room for improvement in this area.
The location is highly praised for its great setting and proximity to local towns and beaches. The scenic beauty and quiet environment are consistently noted as highlights of the lodge's location.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While some guests found the lodge cosy and the beds satisfactory, others reported uncomfortable mattresses and furniture that needs replacing, suggesting a varied experience in terms of comfort.
Facilities and maintenance are areas of concern, with guests reporting issues such as poor WiFi, outdated or broken appliances, and general wear and tear. The need for maintenance and updates is evident from the feedback.
While some guests mention a welcome pack, there is insufficient information to assess the overall thoughtfulness of the host in terms of consistent gestures like gifts. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such amenities will be provided.

Great base to explore New Quay, Aberaron, ect, the nearest beach cei is beautiful. The lodge itself could do with a little TLC but overall ok..but almost no internet or phone signal..and no parasol which was very much needed as it was very hot and we had to sit by the steps at the front door as it was too hot to sit in and no parasol to sit on the balcony. I would go back to this site as it was sooo dog friendly, but would choose another lodge due to no internet/ phone signol.

No wifi available, no remote control in main bedroom. Stained bedroom carpet, don't think a duster had been used for over 6 months.
