The Glen is a detached, traditional stone holiday cottage ideally situated in the Ystwyth Forest on the historic Hafod Estate. Wonderful scenic walks highlight the river, waterfalls, local views and renowned birdlife making it the perfect holiday location in which to relax.

A travel cot is not provided, however, there is space for guests to bring their own.
The caretaker Mr Aled Pugh can be contacted on 07534 164182/ 07891 943243. Please note the potable water is supplied from a borehole. Unfortunately, this supply is sulphurous which gives the water a cloudy appearance at first and a sulphuric or ‘eggy’ smell. The smell and cloudy appearance will disperse when the water has been left to settle.

The water is from a spring, well or borehole, and not a mains supply.

What a fantastic cottage, everything we hoped for. Beautiful walks by the river and forest, lots of wildlife which our children loved. Half an hour away from Aberystwyth, 10mins from Devils Bridge excellent location. Will definitely visit The Glen again.

Perfect location if you're looking to immerse yourself in green spaces with very few people invading your privacy.The cottage is mid refurb so by the time we revisit next year the works may have progressed further, making this accomodation a truely wonderful place to call a home from home.The beds and seating furniture are of good quality making any time spent indoors comfortable. I have never wanted to return to a destination we've previously visited, but we have already rebooked The Glen for next year as it ticked so many boxes. Already looking forward to going back.
