A car is essential, but outside of that this is a great place to stay. The rooms are all a good size and there is plenty to do locally. We enjoyed Aber Falls (waterfall and distillery) Llandudno and Anglesea. If visiting in winter, bring slippers (I imagine the kitchen floor could get cold).Communication with the host was easy and clear.

The house is in a stunning quiet location. However it is not dog friendly due to many gaps in the fencing, so dogs have to be tethered at all times. The neighbour is terrified of dogs and is quick to complain. The sofas and chairs in lounge are not usable, extremely low, no support - we moved the book room chairs into the lounge, but in the end just couldnt use the lounge at all. So we had to use garden chairs , thankfully weather was good. Nowhere near enough cutlery we were a group of 5 and were always running out of knives. Some areas were not as clean as id like with cobwebs in kitchen cupboards etc. Housekeeper had to bring us loo roll as we only had 2 with 2 loos that seemed a bit tight. Toilet and bathroom doors didnt lock, we repaired the ground floor one. My parents room next to bathroom the door was impossible to close without getting trapped. They need to give details of which bin is for which as it was not clear when filling bins at the end of the drive. The beds were comfortable and clean thankfully. The location was spectacular. If sofas were usable I would have booked to return and bought my own cutlery!!
