Outside there is ample off-road parking, a front patio so you can enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh air, and a communal garden which has lawn for your furry friends to play, although you must take care as there is an open, but wonderful stream and pond. Y Felinheli is situated between the historic town of Caernarfon and the cathedral city of Bangor. Home to an established yachting marina with an interesting lock, this small village also has a couple of pubs, a restaurant, café in the dock area, a shop and a Post Office. In the area, you can visit the stunning Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, Visitors, the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, or the sandy beaches of the Isle of Anglesey.

So much to do and see, especially if you like walking and cycling. Nice warm welcome from Kerry and John, arrived to a box of goodies on the kitchen work service, well equipped cottage, just what we needed after a long journey from Kent.
