Guests say

Gwynant Lodge is a well-received holiday rental with its prime location near Caernarfon, ideal for exploring North Wales and outdoor activities. Guests appreciate the clean, cosy accommodation and the hot tub, despite some initial heating issues. The proximity to town and nature strikes a perfect balance for a relaxing stay.

Most guests found the lodge very clean upon arrival, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming stay. However, one review mentioned a need for a deep clean, slightly affecting the overall impression.

The location is highly praised for being close to Caernarfon town centre, Snowdonia, and other attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring the area.

The lodge is described as cosy and comfortable, especially after long days of hiking. Some guests suggested additional amenities like extra toilet rolls would enhance comfort.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped lodge and a hot tub as the highlight. However, the hot tub's readiness and maintenance issues, along with minor concerns about other amenities, slightly lower the score.

Guests mentioned welcome gifts, which were much appreciated, adding a thoughtful touch to their stay. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for all stays.

Really enjoyable stay, the location is brilliant. Quick 10 minute walk into the town centre with pubs and food options, not too long a drive from Anglesey, Snowdonia and zip world. Other reviews noted the hot tub, but it was fine for us on check in day evening. Only improvements that could be make, towels and robes for the hot tub and place mats for the table, bar that would highly recommend.

Couldn’t use hot tub first and last nights of 7 night stay. First night not heated up fast enough as others have previously mentioned, but the last night had no tablet/chemicals left in filter (chemical top up didn’t appear to have been done as per their manual) so water didn’t test safe according to several test sticks used. Also be aware hot tub is noisy throughout the night. Dishwasher smelt and felt whole lodge in need of deep clean.
