Lovely cottage with ease of access to the surrounding area.Secure garden for dogs and children to play. Friendly owner who is willing to help with anything needed. Would definitely return and stay in the again if in the area.

Just got back from a lovely stay at Hen Dy. The cottage is really cosy and in such a peaceful spot – perfect for a relaxing break. It’s surrounded by beautiful views and we loved sitting out in the garden for breakfast and dinner, listening to the birds. There’s a nice little walk down to the stream too, which was a lovely bonus. It’s also in a great location for getting out and about – we visited some great beaches and went exploring in the mountains and towns nearby. The owners were really friendly and helpful, which made everything super easy. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway with plenty to see and do nearby.

Cosy, rustic.A big drawback was that we couldn't get in the Property until 17:30!!Not much fun if you have small children to deal feed etc. Also, the Postcode provided sent us to a Farmyard about a mile away from the actual Property?Luckily the very pleasant owners Son directed us to the correct area over the phone. However, we still couldn't find the Cottage, it was rather hidden away!!Cottage was decorated for Christmas & the owners had kindly left wine & mince pies. Beware, it states towels supplied. There weren't any!! Had to contact the owner the next morning. She said that, that info should have been changed in the blurb about the Cottage. The Cottage has lots of quirky & quaint features. The stairs are not for the faint hearted but look amazing. Lovely clean & comfy beds. The surrounding areas are beautiful tooAlthough the heating was good when it came on, it felt really quite cold after it went off. Heating is on a Timer, morning & then evening only. There is a Log Burner but that only warmed a small area.Very pretty & quirky place in a great position for getting to see many lovely Welsh Beauty spots
