Wonderfully positioned to make the most of the region’s beautiful beaches, castles and mountains, this comfortable detached cottage, sits in the grounds of the owners’ smallholding, enjoying panoramic views over the surrounding countryside on the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park. It’s just a short drive from an award winning blue flag beach, whilst Caernarfon with its superb castle is three miles and offers a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The Welsh highland narrow gauge railway passes close by and makes for a memorable trip into the mountains of Snowdonia, an enormous range of exciting activities and attractions lie close by including Zip World, the longest zip wire in the world. Walking, golf and horse riding can all be enjoyed nearby.

We had a lovely 4 day stop at hen weithdy. Great location for walks with only a short drive to Snowden and surrounding peaks. Lovely and clean property with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids 12/16. Only really downside is there is nothing local with in walking distance, so no shops/pubs etc. We did walk into town one day following the railway, it's nice and flat and about 4 miles each way.

On arrival we were Surprised that there was no welcome pack. I did point this out to Anne and she explained why but a pint of milk would have been nice.We found the owners were very nice and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and the weather was very kind to us. We will stay here again when we decide to travel this part of the country in the future

Clean cottage, well-equipped kitchen, great walk-in shower. Upper floor ideal for teens with own TV and sofa. Comfy beds too! Friendly hosts. Great location for exploring north Wales.
