Is Helen Cottage in Caernarfon is highly praised for its lovely setting, well-equipped kitchen, and secure garden. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful owners, and the property's proximity to local attractions. The peaceful environment is perfect for enjoying nature and the nearby castle. Some minor issues with TV signal and heating costs are noted.
The cottage is described as spotless, indicating a very high level of cleanliness that guests are extremely satisfied with.
The location is appreciated for its quietness, beautiful views, and walking distance to Caernarfon Castle and the town, making it an ideal spot for visitors.
The cottage is considered lovely and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden for pets. However, a minor issue with TV signal reception slightly affects the comfort score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen. However, the additional heating cost and the TV signal issue suggest some room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience with the owner's responsiveness and helpfulness, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

We have just got back from a fab week at Is Helen Cottage. The kitchen was super well-equipped and the rest of the house was lovely. The only downside was the lack of signal on the TV. Not the end of the world, but with a teenager and a nearly-teenager, it was a struggle 🤣The location was lovely - quite a narrow road to get there, but was lovely being near the sea and walking to Caernarfon was very easy - about 15 mins. The owner, Grace, could not have been more responsive and helpful. Especially when we had a (minor) doggo injury. The garden was lovely and very secure for our two dogs.
