This charming, renovated Welsh stone cottage has an inglenook fireplace with a welcoming wood burner, and makes an excellent base for exploring this beautiful corner of North Wales. Set on the northern coast of the Llyn Peninsula, it is within easy reach of glorious sandy beaches and a myriad of family visitor attractions. This is a superb location for walking and touring with the dramatic splendour of the Snowdonia National Park, as well as the lovely countryside and beaches of the Island of Anglesey within easy reach. Caernarfon, 4 miles, is home to a magnificent castle, a fine selection of pubs, shops and restaurants and the Welsh Highland Steam Railway for scenic journeys deep into the Snowdonian mountains. Riding, a variety of water sports and exhilarating zip wire experiences are all easily accessible. Pub and restaurant 1¼ miles.

Found lady owner to be intrusive. Came round unannounced and let herself into the back garden where we could have had dogs out. Didn't knock at front first. Then came round 2 days later, unannounced, to mention a planned power cut, we were out and she text us saying that we have moved the furniture and using human bowls for the dogs, which only had water in as there were no dog bowls provided. I was annoyed that she entered the property without us there, she said she looked through the window which I find hard to believe but is still intrusive as our car was clearly gone. She could have just text us. Very smelly bedrooms, bedding smelt like old people and body odour. Even with windows open all week it still smelt. Owner said a cleaning company sort the linen out. Had to wash the bedding, use plugins and air freshener. Had to bring own duvet even though we rang them 10 days in advance to mention feather allergy. Mattress stains. Still left feather cushion on sofa. 1 bin liner for a small pedal bin, 1/2 a toilet roll, no cleaning supplies or foil for the week. No tea, coffee or sugar. I also fell through the wooden decking on the 3rd day when sat on the outdoor furniture. Male owner made this safe promptly. The property itself and the garden were great but can't help feeling disappointed.

We had a lovely week , weather was amazing which was a bonus as the garden is lovely to sit out and have dinner . The cottage was spotless clean , the sofa and bed were super comfy . You do hear the noise from the road but with the cottage being so comfortable and close to lots of lovely villages with great dog friendly cafes and beach walks , you can put up with it for a week . The owners Mari & David were lovely hosts very friendly nothing is any bother .

Great place to stay. Clean and comfortable with all the ameneties we needed. A great base to start a holiday from and lovely to come back to after s full day of exploring.
