Guests say

Guests have consistently praised Bwthyn for its stunning views, peaceful and private setting, and proximity to beaches and local amenities. The well-equipped kitchen, including an Aga, and the games room are frequently highlighted as key features. The property offers ample space and comfort for groups and families, with a garden that's perfect for relaxation. While the driveway's access is noted as tight, this does not detract from the overall positive experiences shared by visitors.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views, proximity to beaches, and the nearby town of Porthmadog. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting and the convenience of local amenities, contributing to a high score for location.

Comfort is frequently mentioned positively, with guests enjoying the communal areas, outside spaces, and the overall peacefulness of the property. The only minor concern is the mention of limited wardrobe space and a smaller-than-expected bedroom, slightly impacting the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen and games room. A small maintenance issue was promptly addressed, showing good upkeep. The mention of a desired hoover and the tricky driveway access slightly lowers the score.

Guests have mentioned welcome biscuits, which indicates a level of thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed and not all reviews mention them, the score reflects this with a polite reminder that such gestures, while appreciated, are not assured.

The aga in the kitchen made it so cosy and the games room was a great hit. Plenty of space for seven of us and the views were spectacular (when the cloud lifted!) Would loved to have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved this property and truly did not want to leave. The views are spectacular. The size of the property is deceiving and much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The games room was a super addition and was well used by all but especially appreciated by the 4 teenagers with us. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and I loved the aga. Plenty of space for all 8 of us to sit comfortably. The village was lovely to walk round with a super little cafe/restaurant (The Sea View) that is worth a visit. The beach was lovely for dog walking and our furry friend loved his walks round there. The driveway to the property is quite steep and tight to get in and out of. We had 3 cars and had to do some shuffling with the vehicles when people wanted to go out, but because of where the house is located and the elevated position, there is nothing the owners can do about that and have made the best of the space they have. We would love to return to this property and have already looked at availability for later this year.

Nice welcome biscuits etc. Brilliant facilities and well equipped. When we had a small maintenance issue Danny was prompt at responding and came and sorted it. Only thing we would have liked was a hoover to keep place sand free! Sorry we forgot to write in the guest book. Would love to come back. Alan, Judy, James, Laura, Junniper and Wilf Marriotts
