Reviews frequently highlight the property's cleanliness and tidiness, suggesting a high standard is maintained.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to coastal paths, beaches, and Porthmadog, with stunning views and easy access to local attractions.
The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with a particularly well-regarded garden area for relaxation. However, some guests noted the property can feel tight for more than two people.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and private parking. Some concerns were raised about the toilet flush and the stability of fixtures, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.
While guests appreciated the little touches like doggy treats and fresh flowers, there is not enough information to guarantee such gifts for future stays, and thus the score is set to null.

The property is beautifully maintained and extremely comfortable. The garden area is perfect for sitting out either a meal or just a glass or two. Plenty of information about how everything works and suggestions for local walks which take you down to the stunning coastline. Porthmadog is a fifteen minute walk away and the location is perfect for exploring this beautiful part of the world. Absolutely loved it!

Very clean and tidy. Lovely view from the garden - unfortunately didnât get to sit out much due to the weather! Gorgeous location. Lovely and quiet but a cafe/deli bar and restaurant on the doorstep overlooking the beautiful bay and itâs only a 15 minute walk to Porthmadog. We loved our stay in Maenllwyd and would stay again. Would have been good to have a washing machine and iron but Iâm guessing thatâs due to not having the space and thereâs everything else you would need. Thank you for the milk and Welshcakes!
