It is a warm and comfortable apartment, well equipped for three. Porthmadog is a great base to explore the surrounding area with good public transport links and right on the Wales coast path. There are many places to eat and drink. All in all a superb property.

The cottage was clean, warm and reasonably well equipped. The beds were wonderfully comfy and the sofas were fine too. The allocated parking spot was a bonus. We like to go out cycling for the day and then cook our own meals in the evenings, but we just found that there was hardly any cupboard space for our own food and very little work surface available on which to prepare meals. If we had been eating out more often it wouldn't have been such a problem for us. Our only criticism was the inadequacy of the shower, or mostly the fact that the shower head was so low on the wall. With two of our group being over 6ft tall they had to bend almost double to get under the shower and it just wasn't practical or comfortable. So Taliesin provides quite acceptable accommodation for shorter people who like to eat out, and the price in the week before Easter made it excellent value, but I'd have to say that it wasn't ideal for us.
