Lovely quiet, rural location. Great views. Very clean house. Nice bedding and towels. Generous welcome goodies. Nice wild flowers in a jug. Large grassed area for ball games. Useful utility/boot room. Close to National Trust places of interest and local beaches. Once the extension with picture window is finished it will be delightful. We moved comfy chairs from dining room to lounge as not enough seating for 8. Equipment we missed - a measuring jug and soup ladle! Everything else was there. Good supply of dishwasher and laundry tablets. Some coat / towel hooks on the backs of doors would be useful. We had a lovely stay.

Beautiful house in a wonderful location. No central heating so was chilly the first day and a half but the aga and fire warmed the house after that. However could really do with an extra sofa under the window in the lounge - the house has 8 beds and we were a family of 7 adults but squeezing into the chairs provided - 2 of which were fairly basic chairs meant the evenings could have been more comfortable!!Other than that lovely with a great welcome hamper

Ty Hen is a stunning farmhouse in a wonderful location. It has everything you need & provided us plenty of space to relax in. The views are spectacular & the wildlife is amazing. Skies full of stars at night, & full of birds by day. We had two large dogs with us & the walks from the door to the beach were breathtaking. This is a beautiful part of Wales. We especially enjoyed visiting Nant Gwrtheyrn… check it out! It is a 20min drive to the nearest shop (post office) but a stroll to Porth Colmon has a fabulous cafe & shop in the caravan site on the way. Whether you want to hike the cliff tops, or walk the beaches the coast is amazing & Ty Hen is the perfect base.Diolch Ruth mae Ty Hen yn garters oddi cartref x
