More local history awaits in the nearby market towns of Abergavenny, Monmouth, and Chepstow (all within 14.5 miles).

Enter the property and head straight to the lounge to unwind. Flooded with natural light thanks to the glass garden doors, it couldn’t be easier to kick back in here between your days of adventure. Flick on the Smart TV, fire up the wood burner in the corner, or simply plan tomorrow’s itinerary. The sofa converts to sleep up to two additional guests on request, while a chair bed converts to sleep one additional child. When stomachs rumble, the adjacent kitchen/diner offers a compact but well-appointed space with everything needed for cooking up Welsh feasts. Enjoy your meals at the round dining table inside or alfresco out on the patio. At the end of each busy day away, climb the spiral stairs to the first floor and retire to your delightful super-king-size bedroom. This restful space is light and airy thanks to the skylights and features an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower and WC.
Spill outside to the excellent garden as often as possible. This enclosed space features a section laid to gravel and a generous patio equipped with a covered hot tub and bar area – perfect for late-night drinks and stargazing. Outdoor furniture and a charcoal BBQ combine for easy al fresco dining. Elsewhere on-site, you’re invited to explore the private woodland, meet the resident alpacas, and make use of the equestrian facilities. Completing the lodge is private parking for one car.
