Stayed at the lodge for the 2nd time, lovely base for walks, a beautiful setting, we had a small issue with slugs getting in which isn't pleasant but being so close to nature is unavoidable I suppose, also this time of year European Hornets active and we had one come through the vent in the kitchen, once again something that can't be helped but the size of those things! Cabin clean & comfortable otherwise, and so peaceful.

The lodge gets very hot when the weather is sunny and there are not enough openable windows How ever there was an oscillating fan provided which helped with cooling Everything else was just fine
