The cosy cottage is set beside the St Davids to Fishguard road in a little hamlet called Square & Compass. Here you are conveniently located to visit a variety of breathtaking beaches and are well serviced with a village pub, petrol station and well-stocked village shop within walking distance. Only 5 minutes’ drive takes you to Porthgain with its award-winning fish restaurant, traditional pub and art galleries.
Less than 10 minutes away visit Aberieddy beach and the Blue Lagoon, the spectacular location of the Red Bull Cliff Diving competition. Here, you can also walk to Traeth Llyfn, a fabulously secluded sandy beach. 10 minutes away visit St Davids, the UK’s smallest city with its array of shops, restaurants and yet more sandy beaches including Whitesands and Caerfai.
The cottage is beautifully presented with slate floors, underfloor heating, and hand-crafted beautiful oak doors. The bedroom has hand-made fitted wardrobes and a rattan ’sleigh’ bed. The luxurious, spacious bathroom finished in natural stone has a large shower cubicle with a ’watering can’ shower and the kitchen/diner with beautiful bespoke fitted units. The cosy sitting room has a high beamed ceiling with the original stone inglenook, a wood burning stove and stunning Melin Tregwynt soft furnishings - ideal for romantic evenings by the fire! Beach 3½ miles. Pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Wonderful cosy cottage for two and a dog. Well equipped with everything we needed and very clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable and the soft furnishings from the local woollen mill were beautiful. Lovely big wood burner in the roomy lounge. The bathroom was excellent with a fantastic shower. Our dog enjoyed barking at the crows which roosted nearby but he found the garden most acceptable. We contacted the housekeeper who came round promptly to sort out a small issue, such a lovely lady. We would definitely recommend Temple Cottage.

This was our second stay at Temple Cottage and everything was just as we remembered with every little detail having being carefully thought out. There is something super special about waking up in the morning and being able to see the sea. We will definitely be back!

Plenty of room for 2 people + Dogs.Road a bit noisy,but quiet in the evening, Wasn't sure how to get Free View on T.V, but Plenty of other channels. Good overall comfort, under floor heating very good. Shower great, would have liked to have some shelving in bathroom Would definitely go there again
