Cottage really cold on arrival and was told heating system took at least 12 Hours to start making any difference. Control of the heating just did not work, eg bedroom set at 15, temperature normally 22/23. Frequently had to use additional heating in living area.TV in living area a waste of space. Ok to watch whilst washing up but no tv in comfortable seating area.Little information about places to visit. No instructions for kitchen equipment. No fire blanket. No emergency lighting, we did have a power cut. Because we are on the priority list for electricity we found out what was happening and the length of time power expected to be off. Almost impossible to sit at dressing table in main bedroom.Whilst the whole cottage was very accessable the toilets were very low and difficult to use without taking a chair into the shower room to assist.Agent was on hand if required.

We had the most wonderful time at Bay Tree Cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spotless, cosy, and thoughtfully presented everything was. The cottage is even more charming in person than in the photos—full of character, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The location was idyllic: peaceful, scenic, and perfectly placed for exploring the surrounding countryside. We loved waking up to the stunning views each morning. It truly felt like a little home away from home.Steve was fantastic—warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. His recommendation for a bite to eat at The Boars Inn when we arrived on a wet evening after a 6 hour drive was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. If you’re looking for comfort, charm, and a slice of Welsh tranquillity, this cottage is an absolute gem. We will definitely be returning!
