Walk along the River Cleddau which flows through the bottom of the garden or discover the historic Landsker Trail, which runs from Carew to Carmarthen. If you like a place to unwind ,relax and recharge ,then this is the place to go. We have had absolutely fantastic time , have come here twice and loved it ! It is peaceful , serene and so much activities to do around and if you do not want to go out , you can just sit and enjoy the beautiful gardens .

Mum, Dad, 2 boys and a dog had a fabulous time here. The secure, secluded garden is great for hide and seek, paddling in the river. The church a few doors down is so pretty. The castle at the top of the hill makes a dog walk even more exciting. Lovely field other side of the river (via the road bridge) also suitable for dog walks when we visited. House was comfy and charming. Oven looks quaint but is top of the range electrical. Visited a nearby beach and Pembroke Castle but the best days were spent at Mountain View with our inflatable canoe.

The location and gardens were very nice but in need of a tidy up.The main bedroom had a damp smell and black mould had clearly just been painted over. This is concerning.Rooms were dusty and windowsills covered in dead flies.There is a wasps neat above front door.Dishwasher did not dry properly so had to do everything by hand.Generally everything was tired looking and not in keeping with the online photos which were clearly several years old.These may all seem like minor issues (except the mould which is a health hazard) but considering the amount we paid to stay I would expect a bit of care spent on the property.
