The surrounding area is a haven for walkers, and you’ll also be within easy reach of Pembrokeshire’s sandy beaches and dramatic coast paths. For eating out, you’ll find a cosy pub in the village and a fantastic range of cafes and restaurants in Pembroke (2.5 miles) or Tenby (8.5 miles).
The picture-postcard shepherd’s hut is on a working farm and enjoys far-reaching rural views. Inside, the holiday home is decorated in neutral tones, with exposed woodwork and pretty soft furnishings. The accommodation is open plan, and you’ll find a kitchen area with a hob and microwave/oven for rustling up tasty breakfasts and light meals, along with a breakfast bar for perching with a morning coffee. At the far end of the hut is a sumptuous double bed to sink into and watch the Smart TV. The property has underfloor heating and there’s also a wood burner for creating a cosy atmosphere on chilly evenings. A separate shower room completes the accommodation. Outside the shepherd’s hut is a patio area with a bistro set and firepit for enjoying breakfasts with a view and romantic evenings under the stars.
You’ll find plenty to see and do in the historic town of Pembroke. Wander through its narrow streets to explore the plethora of shops and eateries, or perhaps step back in time with a visit to the impressive castle – the birthplace of Henry Tudor. Some of the country’s finest beaches are within easy reach, including the golden sands of Freshwater East (2 miles) and the secluded cove of Barafundle Bay (6 miles). The colourful seaside resort of Tenby makes a great day out, with its picturesque harbour, medieval town walls, boat trips, and sandy beaches.
