Set within the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and just a few minutes’ walk from Carew Castle, on the estuary of the Cleddau. Both properties offer an ideal holiday base to explore the surrounding areas, enjoy cycling or relaxing walks with picturesque scenery, or lazy days fishing. There are many beaches in the area, Manorbier is only 7 miles and has a Norman castle. Tenby or Saundersfoot are approximately 12 miles. Shop 1/2 mile, pub 1 mile.

This was our third year at Gareth for the bank holiday weekend.This is such a fantastic base for so many places, within 15 mins you can be at Heatherton, Manor wildlife park,Great deer sanctuary, Pembroke dock for shopping, supermarkets, Manobier beach, Carew Castle,The Carew inn for excellent food etcAfter 20 mins drive there’s Tenby or Saundersfoot, Carew also has car boots on Sunday and huge one on Bank Holiday Monday.The cottage phase beds for 5 people, downstairs there are 2 singles with a downstairs toilet and shower too. Upstairs you have a very small single room and a double room with 4 poster. The bathroom has a lovely size corner bath which is a highlight.The cottage is set in a lovely quiet area, you never even hear the neighbours, maybe the pigs when in the garden lol.The cottage is basic in regards of decor but more than makes up for this as a cheap excellent base.

I would recommend this cottage if it was properly cleaned.The settee would be better replaced The kitchen was not clean The bedding was clean but needed replacing The bathroom was dirty The bottom shower still had hair in the base
