You’ll be just 2.5 miles from the bustling market town of Brecon, which has a modern theatre, a pretty canal, independent shops and plenty of spots to eat. Step outside and you’ll find walking trails and pony trekking right on your doorstep, and scenic golf at the beautifully kept 18-hole parkland course at Cradoc Golf Club (0.5 miles). If you're up for more adventure, Lake Llangorse (9 miles) offers everything from canoeing and fishing to waterskiing and wakeboarding – perfect for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike.
On arrival, kick off your shoes in the traditional arched porch, then make yourself at home in the inviting open-plan living and dining area, complete with a cosy wood burner – lovely for those chillier evenings. Sit down to daily meals and celebrations at the dining table. The well-equipped and generously sized kitchen, with a charming breakfast bar, leads through to a handy utility room. Here you can clean muddy boots and brush off the dog’s coat after a countryside walk. Upstairs, are three comfortable bedrooms: two doubles and a single.
