Escape to the countryside and enjoy a holiday in this lovely detached bungalow. Set on the owner’s working sheep farm, the property has fabulous views of the Epynt, Black Mountains and the Cambrian Mountains. There is an open plan living space complete with a cosy wood burner and comfy sofa where you can take in the views. The bedroom is spacious with a kingsize bed and an en-suite shower room. Outside, the enclosed garden is perfect for letting your dogs roam around, and from the private hot tub you can admire the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. The property also benefits from a Finnish sauna, which can be booked with the owner for 3 sessions for £25.
There are plenty of walks to be had directly from the property and the local pub is just 2.2 miles away. The market town of Builth Wells is just under 5 miles away and hosts many shows and events throughout the year at The Royal Welsh Showground. Llandrindod Wells, 10 miles, has lovely parks and lakes, great for afternoon walks and adventures with your four-legged friends. Although the property doesn’t offer Wi-Fi, the 4G signal in the area is very good. Shop and restaurant 4½ miles, pub 2.2 miles.

We’ve just come back from a lovely long weekend at this cottage. The purpose of our visit was to relax and this cottage was perfect to do so. It was clean, comfy and fully equipped with everything needed. The private hot tub was great with really lovely views. The log burner inside was great for chillier evenings.The cottage has a smart tv and good WiFi. Jac the host is a lovely, welcoming chap. As our plan was to relax we only ventured out of the cottage one evening for tea at The Prince Llewelyn Inn which we would definitely recommend but booking is advised. We will definitely return to this cottage as next time we’d like to explore more of the local area. This is a perfect little find and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

I've already booked again, absolutely stunning location. In all honesty, I don't think this listing does the property justice. It is the perfect destination for couples, especially those with dogs or those who like to walk. It is a countryside setting, on a farm, it is remote but there are large supermarkets within 20min drive. The listing states no wifi, but there is, all modern facilities inside, most of them new. The TVs are all smart TVs so you can log on to your streaming services and the internet connection streams seamlessly. The property comes with everything you could need. The views are breathtaking. The dogs were in heaven with acres of enclosed safe fields for them to run in. There's a beautiful walk down to a river which we took the dogs down to every morning. We came in winter, we are going to go again in summer and autumn so we can experience all the seasons there. It was private. Hot tub was fabulous. Inside was warmer than my own house and the log fire was a wonderful addition to the setting. Now about the owner Jac, what an absolutely delightful man. He was at the end of the phone instantly, helpful, friendly, went above and beyond at every opportunity. I cannot praise him enough. We have done over 50 stays with various hot tub properties over the years and this is by far the best one we have ever stayed in. Book it, you won't regret it.
