Hay-on-Wye is the nearest town, just 1.5 miles across the River Wye. Beyond that the cathedral town of Brecon is 12 miles away, a good place for a stop en-route to the larger Beacons and Pen y Fan, the largest peak. The city of Hereford with its impressive Cathedral is 20 miles away. Things to do in the area include walking, cycling, pony trekking and those who prefer to paddle on the water will enjoy the close proximity to the River Wye & River Usk, also a highlight for fishermen. You could also explore the spectacular waterfalls in the National Park and there is also a local gliding centre should you prefer to see the area from the air.
The property has a private enclosed garden, where you will find the entrance to the open plan kitchen and living room. The kitchen is well equipped with shaker style farmhouse cupboards and breakfast bar. There is an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge with icebox compartment. A separate utility room with washing machine and downstairs WC. Relax on the sofas with Welsh woollen blankets and a wood burner to keep you snug at night (there's proper central heating too), smart television, Freeview, DVD player and Wi-Fi. Enjoy dining in the light and stylish dining room or in summer eat al fresco with outdoor furniture and barbeque. to the front of the property.
