Escape to this delightful stone cottage nestled on the picturesque slopes of Tor-y-Foel Mountain. Sleeping three people in one bedroom, it’s an excellent accommodation option for couples or small families who are looking for a traditional cottage to call home while they explore the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park together. During the day, stroll along the Llangynidr Heritage Trail and discover its well-preserved ancient churches and traditional Welsh cottages. In the evening, come home and enjoy a glass of wine on the patio while taking in the mountain expansive views.
Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by a cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasting a high ceiling and classic rustic design. Slip onto the sofa and make yourself at home before heading to the traditional kitchen to whip up your favourite recipes. Pick some home-grown organic herbs and vegetables from the owner’s shared organic garden to add a little flavour. Get everyone together to eat at the dining table while you enjoy the mountain views through the window. After dinner, curl up with a good book in front of the stone wood burner - a lovely space to relax – or treat yourself to a glass of wine on the patio. At the end of the day, go upstairs and you’ll find a homely double bedroom with a single bed that is perfect for a child.
