The Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells has plenty to offer in the way of amenities, and has a beautiful lake for that sunny afternoon walk. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

This is a great holiday cottage in a lovely area. Cottage has everything you could need. All kitchen ware included as well as towels and toilet rolls and cleaning equipment. Hot tub is a lovely bonus. The owners are lovely and just left us to get on with it. The sheep are perfect neighbours I could have sat watching them all day. Garden is enclosed but we have a very curious dog who would have squeezed under the fence so we kept him on a long line.Local area is lovely village is small but pub is in walking distance. We went in October so didn’t sit outside but had a lovely outside seating area.Llandrindod Wells is 10 mins away and is lovely. We did a walk around the town through forests and around the lake.

It was everything we hoped for, clean, private and just and great base to work from. After a long day sightseeing returning to the bungalow and plunging into hot tub was an added bonus. John met us on day one introduced himself made us feel welcome straight away. I spent some time chatting to John and I knew instantly we were going to have a good week. Anything you need or forgot you can get from Llandrindod Wells supermarkets. If you are looking for hasle free break, with great hosts who are there if you need them then I would recommend you try Dolview Cottage Thank you for a great week
