In the main cottage, you’ll find a light and bright kitchen spacious enough for rustling up both locally sourced feasts and family breakfasts, a sumptuous dining room and a cosy lounge kept toasty by another roaring wood burner. On a fine evening, catch the most stunning sunsets melting over the valley from the comfort of the decked balcony. Outside, stroll through the extensive grounds and woodland garden before roasting marshmallows over the fire pit while admiring amazing views.

Located in the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park, the picturesque village of Llanigon is a haven for outdoor explorers, with countless tracks and trails around the village; from the doorstep, join the trail leading to Offa’s Dyke to be rewarded with breathtaking rural views. Culture vultures can head to the market town of Hay-on-Wye 2.5 miles away, famous for its literature festival, to peruse its many bookshops, local bistros, shops, galleries, and restaurants. Those who love life on the water can hire a canoe from Hay-on-Wye to explore the River Wye from its best watery angle.
