Guests appreciate the well-stocked amenities and the property's proximity to local shops, cafes, and historical sites. The picturesque views and tranquil environment make it an ideal retreat. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is delightful, with special mentions of a warm welcome and festive decorations during the holiday season.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as very clean, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating a high standard maintained by the property.
The property's central location within the village, close to shops, cafes, and historical sites like the castle ruins, is highly appreciated by guests, making it an attractive spot for visitors.
The cottage is frequently described as comfortable, spacious, and warm, with plenty of space for guests. However, the mention of only one bathroom suggests a slight deduction for larger groups.
The property is well-equipped with up-to-date appliances and amenities. Some guests experienced minor issues with the TV and suggested additional facilities like a DVD player, which slightly impacts the score.

The cottage is very beautiful, and the place was very peaceful as well. We loved our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need for cooking. There were plenty of towels and bed sheets, too.

Located in the lovely town of Montgomery with shops, eating places (including a very good teashop at the post office). We were there as a base for walking some of the Offa's Dyke footpath which is close by. The house was warm and well equipped and we were left a welcome pack with milk, butter and some delicious fruity tea loaf. The walk up the hill to the town memorial was well worth the effort to get an excellent panoramic view.
