Presteigne 3.8 miles. Resting in the charming hamlet of Beggar's Bush near to Presteigne you will find this family-friendly holiday lodge, Dan Y Coed. Offering a group of eight a homely abode from which to explore Mid Wales, it makes a fantastic choice for a countryside escape at any time of the year. Step out into the enclosed garden and soak up its glory; the veranda offers far-reaching views of your unrivalled surroundings, while the hot tub at the side of the property makes the perfect way to unwind each evening. Inside the lodge boasts equal delight, where you can choose from two spots to relax with both a snug, which leads you into the amply-equipped kitchen/diner and a spacious sitting room boasting an inviting corner sofa making a lovely spot to cosy up with your loved ones with a family-favourite film on the television. Also on the ground floor rests both a convenient utility and a bathroom with a bath and separate shower, so you can choose how best to prepare for your day, as well as both a double bedroom and a bunk room being on this floor too, offering wonderful ground-floor living for those less able. The first floor houses both a double with its own en-suite bathroom and a twin with an en-suite basin and WC, with fantastic views and a homely interior in which to relax. Presteigne is an ancient town resting on the banks of the River Lugg in Mid Wales. Resting on the Wales/England border, it makes a great touring base at any time of year, as well as boasting a range of wonderful amenities at its quaint centre including shops, tea rooms, traditional pubs and more. Venture out to explore Leominster, Hay-on-Wye, and beyond, or soak up your local scenery on a stroll along the renowned Offa's Dyke or the Mortimer Trail.
