A fantastic cottage set in the most wonderful countryside with awesome views. The cottage has everything expected and needed. So many walks right from the front door and so much wildlife. We were looking to get away from it all into peace and quiet and just walk our 2 dogs. This for us scored 10 out of 10.If you like star gazing (and it's a clear sky) you can see everything as there is no light pollution to spoil things.Lots to do in the surrounding area.We were so happy with our stay that we are planning a return in early 2026.

This was our second visit to Fron in 3 months and it was as welcoming and cosy as before. With a Labrador and 2 bikes we hardly had to use the car after loading up with supplies at Morrisons in Leominster on the way there. We absolutely love the forest and hundreds of tracks on the doorstep. I particularly enjoyed discovering the earthworks of Ednol church midway through one of our adventures, and a stunning valley on the way through the trees to Bleddfa. The cottage has everything you could possibly need, and is perfect for those who want to really get away from it all. Even in the recent storm it was cosy and dry, but do watch out for potholes on the lane through Cascob made worse by the huge amount of rain.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area. Better signage is needed to find it and an improved internet would be good, as only BBC channels on TV. Large sofa not very comfortable. Cottage was lovely and clean and lovely views to wake up to.
