This property has a natural water supply via borehole. The track to this property is rough and steep, low cars may struggle with the track. The owners take their Corsa up each day with no issues!. This well-placed detached property is perfect for exploring all that Mid Wales has to offer enjoying lovely views with a private hottub which is undercover meaning guests can enjoy it in all weather, and the beautiful Offa’s Dyke walking trail which is 177 miles long and is situated close by. Located just 4 miles from the popular town of Kington which has a great mixture of cafés, restaurants, and local shops for guests to enjoy. There is also a golf course which is one of the highest in England and Wales, with views over the Brecon Beacons.
Nearby there are walks aplenty for the more active from just out of the door of Middle Hanter you have a great array of walks to enjoy all with dramatic views of the surrounding hill and there are many open gardens to explore including Hergest Croft Gardens in nearby Kington. The property is just 13 miles from the popular town of Hay-on-Wye which is famous for its many book shops and annual Hay Festival, which attracts many visitors each year.

Middle Hanter is an absolute gem, the views are incredible, the goat was a delight - so friendly, we are still missing her 😔 and the hot tub kept the kids entertained for ages! There are walks as soon as you leave the front door, Annabel left a lovely welcome gift and came to say hello during our stay.

We recently returned from a week away at middle hanter. The property was very well maintained and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Dog friendly and lovely local walks. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to unwind this is it. Unfortunately during our trip there was a catastrophic wild fire, which surrounded the cottage and the local livestock. Thanks to the tireless work from the local and not so local fire departments we managed to stay in the property for the rest of our stay. The owners couldn’t have been better! They checked on us and our dogs, made sure we had everything we needed and even took out luggage down the mountain side due to the track being unsafe for our cars. Would definitely recommend! We will be returning 😊
