Surrounded by rolling Mid Wales countryside, it’s the perfect escape for couples looking to slow down, explore scenic walking routes and enjoy the quiet beauty of the area.

Inside, the property features a comfortable open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, an inviting space to relax after a day outdoors. The well-equipped kitchen includes all the essentials you’ll need for a self-catered stay, while the cosy seating area provides a comfortable spot to unwind in the evenings. The bungalow offers one double bedroom and a separate bathroom, making it ideal for a couple’s getaway. Guests can enjoy a lovely outdoor seating area set within the orchard, where far-reaching countryside views create a wonderful backdrop for morning coffee or an evening drink. One small, friendly dog is welcome, and the owners’ own friendly Labrador can often be seen around the farm. The welcoming owners live nearby and are happy to share their local knowledge, with maps and useful information provided in the cottage. They also run a local taxi company and can offer discounted pick-ups from the train station in town by arrangement.

The surrounding area is a haven for walkers and nature lovers, with scenic footpaths and quiet country lanes right from the doorstep. Just a short drive away, Welshpool offers independent shops, cafés and the impressive Powis Castle and Gardens, managed by the National Trust. The Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway provides a nostalgic steam train experience through the beautiful Banwy Valley. Lake Vyrnwy is within easy reach, offering lakeside walks, cycling routes and birdwatching opportunities.
