Presented in an open-plan layout, Stag Lodge is perfect for spending quality time with your better half; rustle up a romantic meal for two in the well-equipped kitchen and indulge over candlelight at the intimate dining table before settling down with a glass of wine to enjoy a rom com on the television. If you're not ready for the excitement to end, continue the evening outside onto the decking as the stars decorate the sky above. When your eyes grow heavy, retreat indoors to discover a tastefully-decorated double bedroom, with a shower room set across the way, ideal for preparing for the days ahead in style. A short journey will bring you into the heart of the quaint town of Llanfair Caereinion, where you'll find a handful of local amenities, including the local pub, The Red Lion and the restaurant positioned within The Goat Hotel, along with a well-stocked convenience store, ideal for picking up ingredients to enjoy from the comfort of your holiday home. Get better acquainted with your surroundings aboard the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway, a historic locomotive offering scenic journeys through the rural countryside of Powys. Outdoor adventurers will delight with a visit to Glyndŵr’s Way, a 135-mile National Trail leading through open moorland, towering woodland and rolling farmland, whilst those looking for a more challenging experience can hike up Offa's Dyke Path. Jump in the car and travel to Welshpool, where you can take a step back in time with a tour of the National Trust's Powis Castle or The Wharf Powysland Museum, before indulging in a spot of afternoon tea at The Bay Tree Vintage Tea Room. Venture further afield and discover the spectacular landscape of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, brimming with must-see sights and attractions, including the Arthog Stone Circle, the subterranean adventure course at Zip World Slate Caverns, lake Vyrnwy, and the tallest peak in the country, Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon). Had a really lovely stay , one very very small thing , as the weather was really nice , a couple of deck chairs to sit out on the grass would of perfect , other than that it’s a lovely place

Stunning lodge so peaceful only thing I would say is the bed is quite hard and the mattress slopes a wee bit but apart from that I couldn’t fault it! Perfect! Loved how they left treats, beds, bowls and a towel for the dogs such a lovely touch!!

Freezing temperatures and lots of snow, but we were toasty in Stag Lodge. The lodge is beautiful, very clean and you want for nothing. The owners have done an amazing job building and furnishing the pod.
