My second stay in Awel Deg, the location is perfect for long dog walks, beautiful scenery (especially from the lounge). The house is clean, very comfortable furniture and beds, well equipped kitchen and the welcome basket was much appreciated. The thick stone walls kept the cottage at a constant, cool temperature even during the recent record breaking hot spell, much to the relief of my dog! I will definitely be returning

Beautiful natural area with lots to do , lots of walks and plenty of adventures to be had .Awel Deg is beautifully presented with everything you would need .We love this area and loved the house with it's gorgeous open plan . We also loved it as it's so close to the mack loop with the exciting prospect of seeing fighter planes in the raw fly past , although I must add non of this happens at Awel Deg were it's a calm oasis.Shopping wise. Towyn has a new supermarket ( co- op) which is a help if you have a family. Overall an amazing holiday in an amazing location .

We enjoyed a lovely week at Awel Deg, the property has everything you need for your stay. A lovely hamper was provided along with milk and butter in the fridge. The open plan upstairs living is great with fabulous views across to the mountains. There are lovely walks by the estuary, 5 minutes from the property. You can walk directly to Barmouth, which is about 3 miles but would highly recommend. There's also a lovely walk up to the waterfall near the property.
