Dating back to the 1800s, this tastefully decorated, terraced property is located near the centre of Beddgelert, a popular village in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. This holiday property features a lovely open fire in the living room, with a further wood burner in the dining room/kitchen. There is a unique cliff-type garden with a flight of steps up to the small seating area above the house, from which to admire the view of the River Glaslyn and the surrounding mountains. Beddgelert has much to offer the visitor, including the famous legend of the faithful hound Gelert. You can ride a steam train on the Welsh Highland Railway to Caernarfon. There are excellent walks in the area and beaches are just a short drive away. Shops, restaurant and pubs ¼ mile.

Lovely cottage for a week of hiking (and sheltering from the rain). The cottage was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. It's a short and pretty walk to the centre of Beddgelert, and there are plenty of walks from the cottage and nearby. We would happily come back.

great place for a stay, so much to do and see, beddgelert as some pretty good pubs as well, food was excellent, sacacens head, no complaints what so ever.........

Great location for walking and exploring.Nice cottage that felt really comfortable even during a power cut due to storm damage.Well equipped though 1.25 toliet rolls for 2 people seems a bit stingy.Garden terrace above the roof was the best even in October.Did have to empty the 2 humidifiers 5 times in a week, though may have been due to huge amooiunt of rain in previous few days. Would go again
