About this property

This is our family holiday home, but due to changing circumstances, we can't use it as often as we'd like, so we’re offering it for hire to let others enjoy the charm of this lovely holiday park and surrounding woodlands. It’s ideal for both couples and families looking to spend their holiday in this beautiful part of Wales, which offers picturesque forest walks (dogs love it!) or relaxing days at the beach. The area has plenty of attractions to explore, including Portmeirion, Beddgelert, Criccieth, Harlech, and Zip World, all within a short drive.

If you’d rather unwind, the caravan features an enclosed garden, making it safe for pets and children. The decking, lined with artificial grass, stays cool for little paws or feet, and the separate awning provides shade from the sun or rain. There’s a table and chairs on the decking, along with other garden chairs for lounging in the sun.

The holiday park also boasts a charming hotel with a bar, indoor and outdoor dining options, and a pizza bar near a children’s playground.

The caravan is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, crockery, pots, and pans, along with an oven, microwave, and air fryer for cooking. For rainy days, there’s a TV, DVD player, and some games to keep everyone entertained.

It has two bedrooms: a master double bedroom with an en-suite toilet and sink, and a second bedroom with twin beds. The family bathroom includes a toilet, sink, and shower. The caravan is centrally heated and double-glazed, with an electric fire in the livingroom, perfect for colder months.

We provide bed linen, mattress protectors, and pillows but kindly ask guests to bring their own towels and tea towels. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but please bring their bedding and bowls.

The bustling harbour town of Porthmadog lies on the Glaslyn Estuary and enjoys a stunning setting. The gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, Porthmadog is full of individual shops and restaurants, and home to the Ffestiniog Railway and the Welsh Highland railway where you can travel by steam through spectacular Snowdonia scenery, to Blaenau Ffestiniog or Caernarfon. The pretty village of Borth Y Gest, with its cliffs and coves, is a short walk or drive from the town. The well known and unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast. Situated on a rugged clifftop on its own private peninsula, Portmeirion, famous as the location of the TV show The Prisoner and the final episode of Cold Feet, is surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and woodlands. The area also boasts castles at Criccieth and Harlech, and superb unspoilt beaches such as Black Rock Sands, where the sands stretch as far as the eye can see. Also within reach is the famous Zip World Slate Caverns and Bounce Below where you can get involved with a variety of activities including the thrilling zip wires and underground caverns to explore; there is something here to suit the whole family. An ideal location for the attractions of Snowdonia and the The Llyn Peninsula.
