Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are steep stairs at this property.. Tremadog is a lovely village situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Within the village you will find 2 pubs, a restaurant, fish and chip shop, and a small grocery store for all your basic needs, and all within walking distance of the cottage.
There is an abundance of walks and mountain climbs to choose from, with some very special scenery along the way. Porthmadog, a busy harbour town with all facilities and supermarkets, is just a mile away and is home to the famous Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway, a must visit for any rail enthusiasts. Portmeirion, an enchanting Italian-style village, is also close by. There are any number of beaches and coves within easy reach, including Black Rock Sands where you will find miles of sweeping sands and dunes, and Borth y Gest with it’s cafes. Snowdonia is host to many heritage sites, both industrial, centred around the slate quarries, and military in the form of the castles of Edward II. The area has something for everyone of all ages, with golf, fishing, bike trails, and water sports all on offer. It really is an ideal location to explore the area.

Lovely, comfy cottage with everything you need and in a perfect spot for exploring Snowdonia National Park. We’ve just rebooked for our third visit next year 😊.

Comfortable cosy quirky cottage in a great location . Stairs were not a problem but night time loo trips were inconvenient, haha. Bathroom on the small side, sink tiny and towels very scratchy need to be replaced or more Lenor used. Welcome pack a nice touch, much appreciated.

Beautiful small cottage, treats for both the dog and us on arrival which was a lovely touch. Cosy fire, comfy bed and surrounded by lovely walks. We had an amazing few nights here. Tight car parking space and no secure area for the dog but that didn’t both us. Would definitely recommend.
