  A Peaceful Escape in Nature: We had the most peaceful stay. It’s thoughtfully equipped with sustainable touches; compost bins, biodegradable sponges, fast cookers, and a beautifully designed shower. There are also fun games to enjoy, and the view is absolutely breathtaking. After recently experiencing some deep personal grief, we were seeking a calm and restorative weekend away and this cabin was exactly what we needed. The stillness was almost surreal; you could hear a pin drop… with only the occasional sheep in the distance. The air felt pure, and every piece of furniture was designed for comfort. Though compact, the cabin is expertly styled to make the most of the space, offering everything you need for a restful and grounded experience. A highlight for me was meditating on the patio. It’s conveniently located just five minutes from Devil’s Bridge and a number of scenic hiking trails, which made it an ideal base for our adventures. Do note the nearest supermarkets (Tesco, M&S, and Morrisons) are about a 20-minute drive away. Our dog Vinny loved exploring the area too. The cabin sits beside two others, each with their own gardens though almost attached. So if you have an anxious or reactive pup, it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, a magical stay.   We are a group of 10 who frequently stay in large holiday lets around the UK , and this one is the best we’ve been too. The property is spotlessly clean and fresh, roomy and spacious, and has stunning views of the Clwydian range. Huge indoor space with large bedrooms, a massive lounge with unbelievable views, and a huge kitchen diner with amazing scenery. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Then comes the outdoor kitchen area, this is where this property goes up a level from any other. Here you’ve got a huge hot tub, ice bath, TV, BBQ, Pizza Oven, plenty of outdoor furniture, and all undercover so it’s ideal to use in any weather through not only the summer but winter too. We spent most of our time here during our stay. On top of that you’ve got a games room with pool table, table tennis and darts. The forest behind was great for walking the dog and the local pub was just 5 minutes down the road. We visited Llyn Brenig which was just a ten minute drive away, a great place to visit. We’ve been to plenty of amazing properties from Abersoch to Cornwall, but this one is genuinely the best we’ve ever stayed at, and has everything you could want for a holiday or weekend away. We’re already planning our next stay and can’t wait to return soon. Thanks again

  Property listed as accessible for wheelchairs.

  We couldn’t get the wheelchair out of our vehicle even with our ramp due to large deep rocks. The threshold over the doorway was two high and no ramp provided. I had to be carried from the vehicle. Owner amended the listing day before we left. The property has beautiful views over the fields and mountains, lots of sheep and birds to see. Well equipped kitchen but only one shelf in oven. Some cupboards could do with some attention. Property soon gets warm we had to open windows at times. Bedrooms had plenty of storage, double bed needs attention uncomfortable for us both. Smaller bedroom smelt of damp, informed owner who came but said couldn’t smell anything. If damp we would see mould and bedding be wet. I wouldn’t recommend leaving items on the floor as they did get damp. When it rained it rains heavily against that wall. You get no phone signal which was no issue as WiFi. Cobwebs were left but most areas were clean. Shower was powerful but a very small rectangle head so difficult to wash. There is a shower chair available. Beautiful paintings throughout the property. Due to issues with listing and not being as accessible as originally advertised would restrict us booking again, but the property is in a beautiful location.

  Absolutely great little place in a nice quiet spot.

  The owner's son was on hand and very helpful and accommodating. The property is very clean and tidy and we loved it. Facilities are good with a L'Or Coffee pod machine, microwave and a duo of hot plates for heating up saucepans. The toilet/bathroom is a wet room which is really good . Upstairs is the bedroom with a comfy bed. The stairs up are more of a ladder than true stairs which can cause an issue for anyone with mobility issues so bear this in mind. My only issue is that it would be good to have non slip pads on the stairs as I did have a small slip on one occasion resulting in a bruise. We saw rabbits and a fox in the area and there are wild ponies around too so lots of wildlife. Overall a lovely apartment in a gorgeous part of the world. Recommended. Ade & Kate.
