What our customers say about their holidays

Nice property layout so all 11 of us could relax in same main room - on sofas in front of fire or playing games on table.
Not always the case with larger properties. All rooms warm enough in the cold weather. Kitchen - loads of cooking equipment and good crockery, glasses, proper size cups etc great, but large knives are all blunt so these need to be sharpened / replaced to be able to chop veggies safely. Some cooking things needed a quick wash before use. Very disappointed that there was a charge for pool table (and not the best condition weâve come across either, including cues, chalk etc) - did not see this on listing, only welcome video. Unfortunately we didnât get to use it on sat night due to others playing, but appreciate these things happen (just not had this before at this time of year - we have booked shared and sole games rooms in properties for past 12 years), also a little walk to shared games room so bit wet in the rain. Gym looked good but not used. Hot tub - great, nice and warm, with access just out of the main room. 9.30 am checkout is too early for us, so this along with shared games room and cost to play pool would put us off booking this location again

An ideal venue for our family get together of 11 people and not forgetting Nuno, the dog.
We all loved it. Plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors, for everyone and the split of the bedrooms was ideal. The hot tub was the right size and everyone enjoyed it. We ordered a Tesco home delivery and they were there for when we arrived. The large fridge was full and so was the smaller freezer by the time we had finished. Would have preferred a larger freezer because of the amount of food ordered, but fortunately because of the late arrival time we were able to eat the large pizzas etc on the night so all was ok. The games room was located close by and both the younger and older members of our party made use of it. There are a number of walks close by, mainly on the roads and we thought that may be difficult dog walking. Fortunately the roads were not used by much traffic and so this didnât cause any issues. A minor issue cropped up during our stay and a quick call to Chloe resolved it. We loved the extra info sent by Chloe to us prior to our stay and I was able to copy to everyone in our group. Really enjoyed our stay and will I am sure be booking again

Little Bicton Cottage was exceptional, the cottage was a great place to relax with its peaceful surroundings but within walking distance (1.
5miles) to the village of Clun with is shops and two pubs petrol station and also a starting point for many varied walks. The cottage stands by its own which gives the brilliant peace and quiet of the countryside, we had neighbours in the adjoining field 2 horses a 8 week old foal and three sheep. The large hot tub/jacuzzi was the icing on the cake which we used every night after doing our long walks during the day. The rooms in the cottage were large clean and warm and the large wood burning fire in the living room with its comfortable reclining sofa's was also a bonus . Outside the large lawned gardens which were enclosed gave peace of mind as we took our young boxer dog Charlie with us Ludlow is a town about 1/2 hour drive which I would recommend to visit (market day Thursday's), here you have a town which is dog friendly and also a good base to do some lovely walks from,(park at the river near the castle for 4 hours free parking).

The Milking Parlour provided a great place for our annual family summer holiday.
We loved the layout of the property and all the bath/shower facilities. The bedrooms provided a suitable mix of sleeping arrangements for our three generation group. The beds were large but a little too soft for some of us! The kitchen area, though quite compact, was very well equipped. Throughout the property there were plenty of comfortable places to sit; around the dining table, in the lovely open lounge area and outside on the enclosed, private patio. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the shared games room. We very much appreciated being allowed to walk the dogs in the field opposite our holiday home. There were so many interesting places to visit in the local area that we were never short of something to do and we wished weâd had a few more days to explore this beautiful, peaceful area. The owners were very welcoming and helpful.

Just spent a wonderful week in this lovely cottage.
Superb rural, peaceful location. Very well equipped, clean, cozy cottage. Outdoor seating very comfortable and as the weather was nice I spent alot of time outside enjoying the view. Big garden ideal for the dogs to chase each other. Relaxing in the hot tub in the evening was very peaceful. Easy access to Shropshire way. Close to Clun which has a spa shop. Not to far from Ludlow, which is lovely to wander around and Mortimer forest has some lovely walks. Leintwardine has a lovely chip shop, the fiddler's elbow, which is gluten free and has vegetarian and vegan options. It's a 20 minute drive, but can pre order online to collect and then sit and eat by the river. This is one cottage I would definitely return to again.
