  This is an excellent bungalow that was well equipped, especially for an elderly relative with mobility issues. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location to explore the surrounding areas. It also has a secure garden. Opposite is the village hall and a lovely field that was equipped with picnic tables, a small park and was great for exercising our dog. Wells-next-to-the-sea, Walsingham, Sandringham, Burnham Market and Hunstanton are all close by and easily accessible in a car with great bistros and restaurants. A bit further but easily accessible were the seaside towns of Sheringham, Holt and Cromer as well as other smaller but equally lovely beaches and towns. The owner provided lots of information about the area and was extremely thoughtful on our arrival by leaving some staples as well as being easy to communicate with. To eat out we chose The Duck which is in walking distance of the bungalow as well as a lovely bistro in Wells called Bang. We had a really lovely holiday and would certainly recommend this cottage.   We are loving out stay at Lavender Cottage; the fresh cut flowers on arrival, the fact the place was cosy-warm right from the get-go (we arrived after dark). There was just us two and the pooch, so plenty of room. The weather was perfect so we saw the place at its very best - so beautiful. Loved the wood-burning stove and using the half-and-half Aga to cook dinner, the occasional lunch and other odds and sods. Gurney's in Burnham market has the best fish. Deepdale market is super handy and there are endless places (mostly pubs) for meals out. The walk from here over to Barrow Common, then round the common is gorgeous - Oso loved it. This is our second time in the area, both times we were blessed with lovely weather. Hopefully that will be the case when we return in the very near future.   A repeat visit to Archies, and we had a lovely time again. The cottage is really well located, in a quiet position but very close to the High Street. Parking space is a huge asset. A lovely welcome tray including chocolates and a bottle of fizz - very much appreciated and made us smile. The cottage is very well maintained and is clearly well loved, the owners take a lot of pride in ensuring the cottage is welcoming and somewhere guests will want to return to. We would happily stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

  Appreciated the well equipped property and cleanliness inside. There are 2 benches and 2 seats in front garden. One bench had the build up of so much bird poo on it, that it was unusable and very off putting. Whilst it cannot be helped where birds poo lands, it would have been nice if table and seating clean when we got there. Had there been full occupancy there would not have been enough seating as one bench unusable. We would also have appreciated some cushions for outdoor seating for comfort when sitting outside.

  The property was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Very well equipped, probably the best equipped property we have stayed in with more than enough pots, pans, etc. Useful to have a washing machine and a nice big fridge/freezer. A lovely quiet location but ideal for exploring the local area. A good secure garden for the dogs and plenty of parking space. Would not hesitate to return again if we needed such a big property.
