The responsive owners and helpful housekeeper enhance the experience, despite a minor issue with shared garden access and a bumpy access road.
The cottage is consistently described as very clean and well-presented, indicating high standards of cleanliness maintained by the owners.
The location is appreciated for its tranquillity, countryside walks, and proximity to local pubs and villages, although the nearest pub's closure on certain days is noted.
Guests find the cottage comfortable and cosy, especially noting the characterful features like oak beams and a log burner, contributing to a pleasant stay.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped. A prompt response to a shower issue reflects good maintenance, though the shared garden's accessibility was a minor concern for some.

Very clean and well presented cottage. When a problem with the shower was reported, a prompt attempt to fix it was made, and when this wasn't successful, the owners went out of their way to remedy the situation. Problems occur, it's how they are dealt with that's important! It may be worth mentioning that the nearest pub currently shuts on Mondays and Tuesdays, meaning that if you want to eat out, you will need to drive.

Had a very comfortable weekend at repton cottage despite the weather. A great location for local walks and visiting the local village of Repton, with all it's history. The bumpy road was not as bad as I had imagined. Nearby pubs were great for eating out.
