This semi-detached bungalow sits in an elevated position in the heart of Great Langdale and offers amazing views to the breathtaking Langdales and the valley below. Recently renovated and new to the market for 2021, this split level property features open plan living and provides a perfect base for couples and families to explore this stunning part of The Lake District National Park. You can leave your car in the private parking space and easily explore the delights of this popular village and the beautiful countryside around it on foot. The open plan living/dining area provides a comfortable social setting where you can enjoy the lovely views over the gardens. The modern kitchen is well-equipped and offers all the essentials you’ll need after a day of adventure. The finishing touches include carpets made with Herdwick wool sourced locally in the Langdales, and the Lakeland Green slate cabinet top below the TV.
Nestled in the very heart of the Lakes, Chapel Stile is a lovely place for a romantic break. There are stunning scenic views and many walks accessible from your doorstep including a lovely riverside route to nearby Elterwater which is one of the most beautiful spots in the whole of the Lake District. The village centre has a shop where you can buy all your essentials as well as a well-known pub just ¾-mile away. The popular tourist hotspot of Ambleside has an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants, cafés and coffee houses. For touring by car or exploring the Lakes, the A593 leads you effortlessly to Ambleside on the northern shore of Lake Windermere then continue south to take in Bowness-on-Windermere and Kendal or north through Rydal and Grasmere to Keswick and Derwentwater. The Lake District’s third largest lake, Coniston, lies a just short way to the south, and most of the best known Lake District locations are within easy reach from this central base. Beach 30 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.
