Guests say

Dog Crag Cabin in Broughton-in-Furness offers a peaceful and scenic getaway, ideal for dog owners and nature lovers. Guests appreciate the clean, comfortable accommodations and the helpful local guidebook. While the kitchen is basic, it is deemed sufficient for a relaxing stay. The rural charm and friendly reception add to the experience, though some guests missed having a secure outdoor area and local dining options.

The cabin is consistently described as very clean and comfortable, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The location is praised for its stunning views and proximity to walks and the beach, though some guests noted a lack of nearby dining options.

Guests found the cabin comfortable, but the absence of a secure area for dogs and outdoor seating slightly impacted the comfort level.

Facilities are generally good, with essential supplies provided. However, the lack of a cooker, slow hob, and ice box in the fridge were noted as drawbacks.

While guests appreciated the local guidebook and friendly reception, there is no mention of gifts, so it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness in this context.

Lovely setting. Very peaceful if you ignore the cockerel and crows. Very friendly and accommodating with the dog. Doesn’t have a secure area outside for the dog or to sit and chill in the evening. No TV so bring a book.

Stunning location, very rural. Views from the cabin were beautiful. Basic kitchen but pretty much everything you need. Very clean & comfortable. Short drive to the village & the lakes.

We had such a nice relaxing time at the cabin with our doggo. Even though the kitchen is minimalistic you literally had everything you needed. There is a booklet in the cabin which tells you everything you need to know about the area including walks, shops and the beach. We loved it here
