What a cosy little cottage! We just spent a week here and loved it. Felt like a home from home. The cottage was very comfortable and well-equipped with everything you might need for a short stay. It was spotless, and little touches like fresh daffodils in a vase made it very welcoming. We had read some reviews expressing disappointment with the size of towels. Pleased to say that we were happy with the quantity and the size of the towels supplied. The location is spot-on, with Windermere town centre being a short walk/drive away and lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from. The place has plenty of scenic walks and drives at its doorstep. We loved the afternoon tea at Cedar Manor around the corner. We would happily stay here again!

The property is very clean and newly refurbished to a high level. We had to add payment for towels and linen - although the towels were small and basically hand towels. Our main issue was that we visited in January and the heating times were controlled by Pam. We were up later and rose earlier than the set hours which meant that we were cold. By the third day, Pam reset the heating times, which was greatly appreciated, but prior to that, we suffered from the cold.
