A beautiful cottage tucked away right in town and close to bars, restaurants and shops. Well equipped with a lovely private courtyard. Super welcome snacks on arrival! The cottage was decorated with a Christmas tree and decorations which made our Christmas holiday perfect. Would recommend this cottage and would love to stay again. Lots of wonderful places to visit nearby.

Our second visit to the cottage and stayed for an additional week this time. I just love this little cottage. It is spotlessly clean, good quality furnishings and equipment and the location is perfect. Close to car park, facilities and shops. Parking was only £20 for the fortnight which I thought was really cheap. There is nothing to dislike. It’s even lovely to just sit and watch the birds in the little garden. We appreciated the additional key this time as I’m an early riser whereas partner and daughter aren’t so this meant I could go out and do things without locking them in. One thing it would benefit from is a washer drier as opposed to just a washing machine. Staying for 2 weeks this time meant I needed to do washing and had to dry clothes on radiators and the radiators are so good that it got too hot in there. That being said, there is a laundrette on Greta Road and the cottage does have a good airer you can use and put outside in good weather. Definitely will be booking again because this is a little gem of a place. Little extras like the lovely cakes, scones and wine left by owner were really appreciated and great communication from them too. Love, love, love this place. 5 stars all round.

Fabulous! Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Raven Cottage. Spotlessly clean, terrific welcome pack (even Halloween chocolates for the kids!) and ideal location. No hesitation in recommending to family and friends.
