The Barn at Toft Hill is an amazing holiday accommodation, the views from the lounge & outdoor area are stunning. The Barn is so spacious and has 3 double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, all done to a very high standard. The Kitchen is well equipped, overall there's all you need for a comfortable stay. The local area has many restaurants and things to do with a 10 mile radius. We visited the spectacular Kynren show, Raby Castle and the lovely town of Bishop Auckland. I also recommend the Bishops Lodge pub, they have an extensive menu, the food is very good. I would definately return to The Barn again.

Lovely place to stay. Comfy beds, sofas and very well equipped. The view out of the windows is just beautiful.Handy for the Kynren. Bishop Auckland is on the up and new retail developments meant that everything we needed was on hand. Lovely countryside and walks, but also cinema, bowling and shops.

Excellent location and nice and quiet except for the cows getting us up on our last morning when they were getting moved fields. Although that may have been intentional so we left on time!! Very comfy beds and good en suites. The only criticism we had was there wasn't a window to open in the living area. It had to be a door opened to let air in or nothing.
